It is a cause of great sadness that the National Folklore Foundation has lost a founding member of the organisation. Fiachra Mac Gabhann, was a staunch supporter of the recognition required to maintain awareness of tradition. He played a crucial and active role in the vision and delivery of the aims of the Foundation. His unique combination of wisdom and easygoing personality was both a joy and privilege to have experienced.

President Higgins visited 14 Henrietta Street on 15th of September and was briefed on the Tenement Museum Project.

Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of the National Folklore Foundation will take place on

St Helen’s Radisson Hotel,
Stillorgan Rd, Blackrock, Co. Dublin

The AGM will include a presentation by Charles Duggan, Heritage Officer Dublin City Council, on the 14 Henrietta Street project.

Lunch will be served following the meeting
